Every Goodhouse is uniquely different.

We believe in the values of good design and know the benefits. It's true to say that Goodhouse design homes, but what sets us apart is that our homes are uniquely devised using a system. This systemised thinking and approach creates something special - which is possibility. By this we mean we can create uniquely designed, highly sustainable homes for smaller budgets, placing the value and benefits of good design within the reach of many. Our Goodhouse system provides smart outcomes for the environment and good living for more people.

Respect. Acknowledge. Strive.

We, Goodhouse, acknowledge the Kaurna People, the First Peoples of the Adelaide Plains where we are based. We respect and acknowledge their Elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations Peoples today. We celebrate the ongoing understanding and deep connection the Kaurna People have with the land and sea which remains relevant today because of learning practices that have taken place on these lands for thousands of years. We recognise that everything we do impacts this land. It is our aim that our work adds cultural, social and environmental value to site with regeneration at the core. We also recognise that these values were first breathed by our First Nation Peoples.

Make no mistake, we design houses to be smart homes for better living.

Goodhouse looks after your whole project.

We develop a 'one off' response to each brief, however our system remains the same. The construction system, details, selections pallet and processes have all been carefully considered and chosen, so what we offer is a complete integrated system. We work alongside you to develop a design that answers your brief and responds appropriately to your site.

A regenerative design approach benefits everyone.

As each Goodhouse is unique, the design responds to existing site conditions as well as client driven requirements. Every Goodhouse is designed to maximize ‘passive solar’ principles. Orientation, solar penetration, shading, cross and stack ventilation are all carefully considered and modelled.

Important to our environmental philosophy is the provision for outdoor living spaces that respond to the varieties of climate and connect to the internal spaces. It is this visual and spatial connection that encourages people to interact with the operation of their home and work with the local environmental conditions.

Another Goodhouse environmental philosophy is to minimize the built form footprint in order to reduce the embodied energy and financial cost of each build. Each Goodhouse is economic in the use of space without compromising the feeling of openness and connection.

The Goodhouse system offers a sustainable and budget conscious alternative to a wide market. Goodhouse is now a possibility for people who value energy efficiency, healthy environments and spaces that are connected to the environment.

Goodhouse and Pocket House.

Both smart options for creating a sustainable, regenerative family home.

Here at Goodhouse we are acutely aware of the challenges that come with navigating the ‘new build’ space, especially in recent times. Our latest ‘off-the-plan’ product, Pocket House, helps to overcome challenges to building a custom designed, sustainable home in today’s market - like soaring building prices and energy costs, smaller blocks and increasing climate extremes. Pocket House takes our highly developed Goodhouse principles and makes them widely available outside of our custom builds. And we are doing it without compromising on quality.

Lets create something special.
